Saint Kilda Brew teams up with local photographers

We recently teamed up with a few local photographers to bring together some iconic photos of St Kilda on the neck labels.

The photographers are Mike Long, Hayden Charles, Keith Bugeja and Elvis (he was on a short holiday in the area).

Bangers & Brew

Last year to help get through the winter we organised a world first, a celebration of a truly global cuisine, the Banger.
We had 16 of St Kilda's finest venues deliver up gourmet bangers.

We recently got our hands on a top shelf Pinot Grigio. We can't tell you where its from or how we got it. Lets just say there was a truck involved.

The first day we had Saint Kilda Brew

We launched Saint Kilda Brew back in December 2009 at the St Kilda Bowls club with a fierce Bocci comp, a bbq and plenty of icey cold brews.

Some Saint Kilda Guys is the company we set up in 2009 to launch Saint Kilda Brew. We love it as a company name because it sounds like a couple of slightly dodgy guys with a van. While we do have a van, we're not dodgy or very corporate for that matter. No suits allowed and all big company decisions are made over a few brews.

We came up with the idea of starting Saint Kilda Brew while watching a game of footy and enjoying a few beers and a barbie. Hardly an original idea for a couple of guys, but nonetheless we set about bringing it to life. A year of research went into finalising the recipe, which included drinking beer, visiting breweries, visiting beer expos and more beer drinking.

The final recipe is a naturally brewed Blonde beer with plenty of St Kilda character.

We first introduced all of the venues in StKilda to the brew by wheeling around an esky. We now deliver the brew in a 1973 Bedford van – “The Brew Bus”.

We hope you enjoy our brew in our big backyard that is StKilda and its surroundings.
